Volunteer Requirements

Experience or interest in working with infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities and/or developmental delays.
Respect for and ability to engage with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Must Pass Background check requirements.
Complete HIPAA training

Current Opportunities

We currently have no openings for volunteers. We look forward to offering ways for you to generously donate your time in the future.

Ongoing Opportunities

Administrative Support: Create therapy materials (like flip books and social stories, games, play-doh and gak) or support staff with mailing, filing, photocopying, scanning, and other projects.

Special Events & Fundraising Support: Help KKDC raise crucial funds by supporting our fundraisers throughout the year – a wide variety of activities before, during, and after events.

Community Outreach: Join a KKDC staff member at local events (such as fun runs, service fairs, etc.) to share information about KKDCwith community members. Community events are typically on weekends during the spring and summer.

Group Opportunities

We are interested and open to hosting volunteer groups to develop much needed therapy equipment to be provided to families for in-home use. We have many opportunities for groups to help with various projects such as event support, staff training, and hosting fundraisers. Additionally, we look forward to groups sponsoring families for the holidays through Kaleidoscope’s Giving Tree.
