Our mission is to eliminate barriers to accessing high-quality early intervention therapy services for all children in our community. We achieve this by offering therapy services at no cost to families. However, to sustain this, we rely on external funding sources, including grants, philanthropic donations, and fundraising efforts, to bridge the gap that insurance billing does not cover.
Your generous support helps KKDC fund critical areas of need in the Community through:
-
Sponsoring an uninsured or underinsured child’s therapy services
-
Covering the cost of a comprehensive developmental evaluation
-
Providing continuing education for a therapist to continue to improve and grow
-
Providing access to home based services to a rural family through travel support
-
Providing parents with Developmental Support and Training Groups
-
Providing specialized equipment for children
-
Providing mentorships, training, and continuing education for EI therapists
