Early Intervention Therapy

At Kaleidoscope Kids, Early Intervention therapists work with children and families to support developmental progress and skill-building through play. Our licensed Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) provide therapy in natural environments where children live, play, and grow, (e.g. homes, childcare settings, and community spaces). Our therapies are centered on the whole child and tailored to meet each child and family exactly where they are in their developmental journey. We coach and support families to weave therapeutic strategies into everyday routines, creating meaningful opportunities for consistent growth and practice. Recognizing that families are the most important agents of change in a child’s development, we are dedicated to empowering and supporting caregivers every step of the way!

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy helps children and their families build strength, coordination, and mobility to navigate their daily world with confidence - enabling them to participate fully and joyfully in play, learning, and everyday routines!

Physical therapy addresses a range of developmental areas with a focus on gross motor skills - such as rolling, sitting, walking, stair-climbing, and navigating play environments. They also support fine motor skills (such as using hands to explore and manipulate toys), self-help skills (such as feeding, dressing, and sleeping), and cognitive skills (such as attention, problem solving, cause and effect, etc.). When appropriate, specialized equipment may be introduced to support progress, with careful consideration of how sensory processing influences a child’s development.
